Katherine Salucop, CPHR, She/Her

Director

Katherine works for the Edmonton Police Service as the Executive Director, Human Resources Division.  In her role she provides oversight to a team of professionals who offer a suite of HR services to 3000 sworn and civilian members of the Edmonton Police Service.  She leads a diverse portfolio across four branches including the Employee and Organizational Wellness Branch; HR Support and Labour Relations Branch; Employee Services and Civilian Recruiting Branch; and HR Legal Services Branch.


Katherine brings diverse experience as an HR professional with over 20 years working in both public and private sector. She is passionate about the role HR plays in supporting organizational culture and enhancing the employee experience.


Katherine is a proud Albertan, currently residing and raising her family in Edmonton. She holds an MBA and B.Comm from the University of Alberta.  In addition to to her role on CPHR Alberta’s Board, she is currently  serving as Board Chair for the Terra Centre for Teen Parents.

Board Recruitment

Seeking CPHRs and Public Board Members 


The CPHR Alberta Board of Directors is looking for directors who are willing to share their time, talent, and expertise and be actively involved in shaping the future and long-term success of CPHR Alberta. We are seeking two (2) Chartered Members of CPHR Alberta that have, or are willing to make, connections in the community that will assist the Board's linkage to stakeholders, and up to two (2) public members with specific expertise.
